NOTE on Splash Guard: The spashguard does minimize splattering / leakage of tank during transport but there is no guarantee that no waste will leak out during transport. Customer is expected to use good judgment for transport of waste. When transporting waste, it is important to ensure there is no leakage of waste on the highway or streets since the Highway Patrol / Police can and will issue a fine / ticket. All Safety Products recommends a Waste Service Company to service and cleanout tank before transport. All Safety Products assumes no liability.
Drain Valve Kit: Although we aren't offering this as a purchase option at this point, All Safety Products has inquired from Valterra Products about what is needed from customer to add a drain valve to the back of the p-pod tank. We are including these instructions with a disclaimer since customer does assume risk and liability for installing this feature. We're providing this information as a convenience for customer only. NEW Bumper Hauler for a Hitch on a Truck: On the bumper hauler, there is a guard rail all the way around the unit as well as two eye hooks to run a strap across the top of the collapsed P-pod. A come-along strap or a self-ratcheting strap (not included) will work well to secure P-pod for transport. You don’t want to over tighten too much. It is important to have the p-pod in the collapsed position when transporting. There is also lower wind resistance this way as well.
SPECIAL NOTE FOR BUMPER HAULER OPTION: The bumper hauler consists of a guard rail all around the unit as well as two eye hooks to run a strap across the top of the collapsed P-pod. A come-along strap or a self-ratcheting strap (not included) will work well – avoid over-tightening. Also, if transporting unit you will want to add another 2 cotter pins or hitch pins with clips for hitch security. You can check with your local trailer rental company or local hardware store. The bumper hauler is designed only for trucks or utility vehicles with sufficient clearance (recommended that you provide clearance of 18 inches from the bottom of the trailer hitch receptable to the ground) so the pole guides or the bottom of bumper hauler don't scrape on the street or highway when transporting the p-pod. The bumper hauler is rated for 1,000 pounds weight. Please call or contact us if unsure whether your vehicle will work with the bumper hauler.
